Keynote – Retail 4.0: Digitization and stationary retail – friend or foe?
Speaker: Sanjay Sauldie
In the past few years, a fundamental change has begun in the trading sector, which will only intensify. The dynamics of digitization are considered to be a major challenge, especially for brick-and-mortar retail. Small and medium-sized, mostly owner-managed companies, which have only very limited resources to react to this change, appear to be particularly at risk. This lecture shows with practical examples the means with which these companies can help shape the future of Retail 4.0 without falling victim to digitization.
